Hi and Welcome to Digital Allsorts. My Name is Lyndon Hughes and I am currently residing in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales, UK. I have been into Photography now for over 10years and what initially started out to be a hobby photographing trains, developed into an obsession to get out there and photograph as much as possible. Apart from the delight and pleasure from seeing the results of my work it has been a wonderful therapy to help me overcome and fight a major mental health problem. Even though I don't really have a specialism, I do enjoy the challenge of close up flower photography and the thrill of watching and photographing aircraft. I am a self taught photographer but have learnt many many new skills over the years simply by experimentation, books, magazines, Internet and studying the techniques and work of many famous photographers. I have also managed to acquire new equipment over the years and have recently purchased a Canon 40D which is an amazing camera, even though I'm still getting used to it the initial results are awe inspiring.
